The purpose of biosecurity safety cabinets is to reduce the risk to the user while working with dangerous or potentially dangerous microorganisms. These cabinets do not necessarily need to protect the user from all dangers. In some safety cabin types, the purpose of the materials can be protected from environmental pollution. Measurement and verification tests should be carried out to meet the lowest performance criteria for safety cabinets operated with microorganisms, protection of the environment and employee, protection of the product and prevent cross contamination.
Working and Performance Verification Tests for Biosecurity Cabinets are conducted in accordance with the standards of TS EN 12469:2004, ANSI/NSF 49:2014.
